Look up! When you open the COMMUNITY menu above, you’ll find the sub-menus “Create your Community account” and “Login to contribute to your Community”.
In April 2023, we sent out invitations to all of our current Ordinary and Honorary members to activate a free membership to this platform by clicking on a link and completing some details to help us develop the content best suited to the people we are here to support. If you skipped over this invitation or sent us to your spam folder, never fear – all you need to do is click on Create Community account or email Jane and we will help set you up!
Technically you are already on the Community Platform any time you visit the GPSA website! To login so you can update your details, ask your peers a question, check the date for an event, comment on a post, or join a new group, just click on the GPSA logo in the top left corner of the screen. This takes you to a Home page that changes very subtly according to your logged-in status, personalising content such as any groups you have joined.
When you arrive on this Home page, if you are not automatically welcomed back just look for the “Login” button at the top right corner of your screen.
Once logged in, you’ll see a personalised landing page (hopefully with your photo and name rather than Carla’s) – just click on “My profile”, select “Edit” and away you go!
Follow the instructions below to become involved as a member of one or more GPSA Community Groups – all of which are private and accessible only by validated GPSA members.
This is not a substitute for Facebook or Twitter, so please refrain from posting holiday pics and engaging in unprofessional or disrespectful behaviour.
This is where you come to draw on this unique community of practice to develop solutions, offer feedback, and play an active role in ensuring GPSA represents you in the way you most need: now and into the future.
