Shellie has a post graduate degree in Marketing from Monash University and is a Certified Practicing Marketer with the Australian Marketing Institute. Shellie joined General Practice Supervisors Australia in May 2016, prior to this she worked at General Practice Training Tasmania for more than three years and was responsible for the Overseas Trained Doctors National Education and Training (OTDNET) program, the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Training Project (ATSIHT), educational events for GP registrars and GP supervisors as well as the organisations Bi-College RTP Accreditation with both RACGP and ACRRM.

In 2015, Shellie played a key role on the organising committee for the very successful General Practice Training and Education Conference (GPTEC) and has extensive experience in event management. Shellie has held various marketing and communication roles in a variety of sectors both within Tasmania and New South Wales with experience working for both State and Federal governments. She is passionate about community and the ever increasing value of collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
